Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to the stuff people worry about before signing in.

Do I need to give csfumble my Steam password?

Nope. csfumble signs you in with Steam's official OpenID. You log in on Steam's own page, and all Steam sends back is your public SteamID. Your password never reaches us.

What does the import snippet actually do?

It walks through your Market history right in your browser, reads each sale, and sends the totals here. The code is about 350 lines and isn't minified, so you can read it all before you run it.

Do you need an API key, trade URL, or my mobile authenticator?

No. We never ask for any of those. Signing in just tells us your public SteamID, nothing else.

Can csfumble see my inventory or make trades?

No. We can't see your inventory or send trades. All the import looks at is stuff you already sold on the Market.

What do you store, and what don't you?

We keep your SteamID, your current Steam name and avatar, and the market sales you've made. We don't touch cookies, session tokens, your inventory, your purchases, or your friends list.

Is my profile public?

Yes by default, so your fumbles can show up on the Hall of Fame. You can switch it to unlisted (link-only) or private, or wipe your data entirely, whenever you want in settings.
